B2B Travel / Booking Platform
Live
Flight Local is a B2B travel booking and agency-management platform designed for travel businesses rather than individual travellers.
The system gives agencies access to flight search and booking tools while also providing the operational features needed to manage day-to-day travel transactions.
From a single dashboard, agency users can search flights, compare airline options, manage booking queues, maintain traveller information, track deposits and account activity, configure flight markups, manage sub-agents, apply discounts, and access reports.
The platform combines travel inventory access with the financial and administrative tools required to operate a travel agency digitally.
The main challenge was bringing booking, agency accounting, pricing controls, and operational management into one coherent platform.
A B2B travel system has significantly more complexity than a normal consumer flight-search interface.
The platform needed to handle:
The challenge was making all of those functions available without creating an interface that felt fragmented or difficult for agency staff to operate.
I structured Flight Local around a centralized agency dashboard where booking activity and business operations could be managed together.
The booking panel provides a straightforward search workflow for route, travel dates, cabin class, passenger count, and preferred airline.
Search results then organize available flights by airline, price, schedule, stops, baggage allowance, fare conditions, and other booking information, while giving users filtering and sorting controls to quickly narrow down suitable options.
Behind the booking workflow, the system also provides dedicated operational areas for travellers, bank accounts, deposits, ledgers, flight markup, sub-agents, discounts, and reporting.
The Flight Queue provides a consolidated view of active bookings, including PNR, passenger details, airline, payable amounts, ticketing deadlines, payment status, request status, and booking time.
The result is a platform that supports both travel booking and the business operations surrounding each booking.
